These creams, lotions, patches, and balms are said to help with relieving the pain from getting a tattoo as well as increasing the recovery speed that can often be lengthy depending on the size of your tattoo.

What the tattoo product introductions have done are open up the products to a different set of consumers. It has also made it more attractive for retailers given that it has virtually nothing to do with using marijuana.

Well, it’s extremely popular. In fact, it’s so popular that the owner of Nurse Mary J, the hemp oil lotion that Colleen Kibler created is one that she told MJBizDaily.com that she’s actively selling this out of her car to tattoo shops in the Houston, TX area.
Kibler stated, “Most tattoo aftercare is not actually made for open wounds. They contain alcohol and petroleum – stuff that dries you out.”
She’s made a great point and there are even doctors that are backing the use of CBD for inflammation. For example, a San Diego dermatologist named Dr. Jeanette Jacknin believes that “CBD knocks out a lot of inflammatory cells.”
There’s no doubt about it, more and more people are going to be looking to CBD-based products in order to deal with the pain and inflammation that occurs from acquiring new ink.
