Tallahassee Opens First CBD Dispensary

Tallahassee CBD Dispensary Is Finally Open!

Tallahassee, FL, is one of the many cities that just recently opened up a CBD dispensary for the first time. According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, the cannabidiol known as CBD is non-psychoactive and contains over 100 cannabinoids that can treat serious medical issues.

The recently opened business in Tallahassee is called Natural Life and sells bottles of liquid CBD for $54.95, along with many other CBD-infused products. The dispensary had their grand opening on February 3rd, 2018, and had hundreds of customers on their first day. The dispensary offers CBD, which contains only a trace amount of THC (less than 0.3%) so no prescriptions are needed to purchase the natural painkiller.

Natural Life’s owner, Gabriel Suarez, was moved by the healing powers that CBD potentially holds for people and his brother was a major influence in his life as well as creating a business for alternative medicine. Suarez is originally from Uruguay, South America, and his parents and brother recently moved back to the states.

Suarez explains that he “[has a] little brother with juvenile arthritis and a very severe case. He’s had it since he was born and we’ve tried all types of medication. I’ve watched my parents travel to different states to get him different treatment and anywhere that someone claimed to be better than somebody else and he never really had a true relief,” he said.

He further explains that his family did, in fact, find the cure for his arthritis – cannabidiol.

Natural Life opened for reasons that the name of the company easily explains- they offer a natural alternative to otherwise invasive treatments. They also firmly believe in educating people about the product. One of the shop’s suppliers, Alex Petrick, explains “we give an alternative to synthetic painkillers. We conduct interviews and we collect surveys of people getting a medical benefit from CBD supplements. We educate the public on what signs there is out there from reputable sources that me and you paid for as taxpayers.”

In other Florida dispensaries, it is necessary to possess a medical card that allows you to purchase CBD products, and that’s what makes Natural Life different. The shop is open to anyone who wants to reap the scientifically proven benefits of CBD oil – see them all here.

Petrick also explained how CBD can benefit anyone overcoming an addiction, such as smoking cigarettes. He noted that someone with anxiety who is trying to quit smoking would benefit greatly from purchasing a vaporizer with CBD e-liquid that takes the place of smoking and provides natural relaxing abilities.

Natural Life made a dent in Tallahassee’s history, and many more cities around the country are following suit.

If you have a tip on any cities or states that are adopting and accepting the movement, please reach out and share the tip!
